Conference webstreaming for the State of the Arctic Conference: "At the
Forefront of Global Change," can now be accessed by going to:
http://soa.arcus.org/streaming. All plenary sessions will be streamed to
allow virtual participation for those unable to attend the meeting in
person. The full conference program is available online at:

Anyone is welcome to participate and webstreaming is free. Webstreaming
will include real-time video and text chat. If you plan on participating
in the webstreaming, please fill out the short registration form at:

The State of the Arctic will be a milestone for arctic science by
providing an open international forum to review the current knowledge of
the arctic system in a time of rapid environmental change and point to
future research, resource management, and policy directions.
Participants will include a diverse and interdisciplinary group of
scientists, students, agency personnel, policy makers, stakeholders and
northern representatives, and media. Nearly 400 talks and poster
presentations will address all aspects of arctic science and policy.
