The State of the Arctic Conference: "At the Forefront of Global Change,"
16-19 March 2010, will be a milestone for arctic science by providing an
open international forum to review the current knowledge of the arctic
system in a time of rapid environmental change and point to future
research, resource management, and policy directions. Participants will
include a diverse and interdisciplinary group of scientists, students,
agency personnel, policy makers, stakeholders and northern
representatives, and media. Nearly 400 talks and poster presentations
will address all aspects of arctic science and policy.

WEBSTREAMING
The conference plenary sessions will be webstreamed to allow virtual
participation for those unable to attend the meeting in person.
Webstreaming will include real-time video and text chat.

Anyone is welcome to participate and webstreaming is free.

If you plan on participating in the webstreaming, please fill out the

Conference webstreaming can be accessed beginning at 8:30 am EDT on
Tuesday, 16 March, by going to: http://soa.arcus.org/streaming. All
plenary sessions will be streamed; the full conference program is
available online at: http://soa.arcus.org/program.
