The recent backlog of ArcticInfo announcements
(http://siempre.arcus.org/4DACTION/wi_ai_getArcticInfo/4338) has been
distributed. We appreciate your patience and support through the changes
made to accommodate the increase in submissions.
Due to the positive feedback we received over the past two weeks, we
have decided to change our standard distribution system. In the future,
we will usually send only one ArcticInfo message per day, at 6 a.m.
AKDT. When applicable, these messages may contain more than one
announcement.
If at any point we again have a significant increase in the number of
announcement requests received, we will temporarily send two ArcticInfo
messages per day until the queue declines to a manageable wait.
If you would prefer not to receive the individual emails, please be
aware that there is a digest option for ArcticInfo. The digest compiles
all messages sent throughout the week into one email sent every
Wednesday at 8:00 a.m. Alaska time.
To change your subscription status to the digest option, please complete
the form at: http://www.arcus.org/arcticinfo/subscription.html. Make
sure that you enter the email address at which you currently receive
ArcticInfo, and select "Digest Subscribe" from the dropdown box at the
bottom before pressing the submit button. You will automatically be
removed from the daily postings.
