Conference organizers announce an abstract submission extension for the
Arctic Freshwater Budget symposium, the final meeting within the
FreshNor project. The extended abstract submission deadline is
Wednesday, 1 July 2009.
The Arctic Freshwater Budget symposium seeks to bring together leading
scientists working with all aspects of the freshwater cycle to discuss
current questions related to freshwater fluxes in the Arctic. The
symposium will be held as part of the Nuuk Climate Days, 25-27 August
2009, in Nuuk, Greenland.
The National Science Foundation (NSF) has provided funds to the Center
for Remote Sensing of Ice Sheets (CReSIS) to partially support US
graduate students, post-doctoral researchers, and new investigators to
