The School of Geography, Environment, and Earth Sciences at Victoria
University of Wellington in New Zealand seeks applicants for a research
and teaching position in Environmental Studies. The successful candidate
will be expected to teach mainly undergraduate joint Environmental
Studies /Geography courses, supervise postgraduate students, and
periodically coordinate the undergraduate Environmental Studies major.
The successful candidate will hold a PhD in environmental studies,
environmental geography, or a closely related discipline. S/He will have
an internationally recognized research publication record as well as a
proven track record of high quality teaching and supervision, and a
demonstrated ability to disseminate findings to multidisciplinary
audiences. Junior applicants who have already begun to establish a
strong research record will be actively considered.
The position is a permanent posting on the Kelburn Campus in Wellington,
