The Ohio State University (OSU) Office of Continuing Education and
School of Earth Sciences are offering an online graduate course about
climate change (3 quarter hours of grad credit) from 15 June-24 July
2009. "Understanding Global Climate Change" will be conducted entirely
online, and there is no requirement to be online at any given time. The
course is based on science content that will be provided on DVD by mail
to students prior to the beginning of the course. Current OSU students
are ineligible to enroll in this course.
Ten partial scholarships are available for the summer session only. The
deadline for scholarship applications is 15 April 2009.
OSU plans to offer multiple sections of the course throughout the
2009-2010 academic year, but scholarships will not be available for
future sections.
