The Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland (GEUS) announces the
availability of a new book in English translation: "Geological History
of Greenland: Four Billion Years of Earth Evolution," by Niels
Henriksen.
The book summarizes the results of more than 60 years of geological
investigations in Greenland and the surrounding shelf areas. It includes
270 pages illustrated with photographs, maps, and drawings, 850 color
figures describing and explaining the geology of Greenland, an 18-page
geological glossary, references to both general and specific scientific
background literature, and an index with geological and geographical
entries.
