The Northern Plant Ecology Laboratory (NPEL) in the Department of
Biology at the University of Saskatchewan is currently recruiting a
graduate student to work on disturbance ecology in the boreal forest or
the arctic tundra. Graduate research may be conducted at the PhD or MS
level.
Student research will focus on examining the impacts of disturbance on
northern plant communities within the context of on-going environmental
change. The student should be interested in conducting field research at
remote locations in Canada's north. Students must have a minimum average
of 80% in their previous three years of coursework to be eligible for
this support.
