A conference organized by the International Laboratory for the
Multidisciplinary Study of Representations of the North will be held at
Sorbonne Nouvelle University in Paris on 15-17 April 2008, on the theme,
"Where does the North begin, where does it end? Nordicity, borders and
territories."
The conference is organized by the Chaire d'etudes du Quebec
contemporain of Sorbonne Nouvelle University, in cooperation with the
CNRS Laboratory "Espaces, Nature et Culture" and the International
Laboratory for the Multidisciplinary Study of Representations of the
North. The conference will be in English and French.
Abstracts for papers are invited and must be submitted by Monday, 11
February 2008, at:
