The Institute of Oceanography, Department of Geosciences at the
University of Hamburg, Germany, invites applications for a part-time
research associate for "THIN ICE" (Investigation of thin ice using
dual-polarization, multi-frequency microwave observations), a project
funded by the German National Science Foundation (DFG).
The position is limited to two years with the possibility for an
extension of one additional year. The tentative starting date is 1 April
2008. The research to be carried out is intended to build the basis for
a PhD thesis.
