The Norwegian Meteorological Institute in Tromso, Norway, invites
applications for the position of Researcher / Head of the National Ice
Service. The successful candidate will be responsible for daily ice
charts covering the Barents Sea. Production of ice information is
GIS-based. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for further
development of the National Ice Service.
Applicants must hold a Masters degree or preferably a PhD in geophysics.
