"Carbon and Biogeochemistry in the Arctic Ocean," a workshop for PhD and
other university students, will be held on 7-10 November 2007 at the
Norwegian College of Fishery Science in Tromso, Norway. The workshop
(BIO-8502) is part of the Arctic Marine Ecosystem Research (ARCTOS)
Network.
The workshop features speakers from Canada, Germany, and Norway and will
focus on arctic shelf seas (such as Siberian and Canadian shelves),
biogeochemical cycling, carbon budgets, sediments/benthos, and
contaminants. Participation is open to all PhD and other university
students, as well as faculty and scientists.
