Papers are invited for Session C17: "Glacial and Periglacial Processes
and Landforms" being convened at the American Geophysical Union (AGU)
Fall Meeting on 10-14 December 2007 in San Francisco, California.

Session Description:
Glaciers and permafrost are directly impacted by warming climate and
changes in them drive other landscape change. Glacial and periglacial
processes are the physical agents responsible for shaping arctic and
alpine landscapes. Session conveners welcome contributions reporting
work on how these components of the cryosphere operate, how the rates
and process styles change in the face of climate change, and on longer
timescales how they generate the landscapes of the cold regions.
Conveners welcome theoretical, lab, and field-based studies.
