Sponsored by ARCUS with support from the National Science Foundation,
the Arctic Forum is held annually in conjunction with the ARCUS Annual
Meeting and gathers together members of the arctic research community,
key agency personnel, policy makers, educators, and students in one of
the few interdisciplinary meetings focused on the Arctic. The Arctic
Forum features oral and poster sessions on a diverse array of topics in
arctic science. ARCUS began hosting the Arctic Forum in 1994; abstracts
from the Forum were first published in 1998 and will continue to be
published annually.

Abstracts from the "2007 Arctic Forum" will be available in winter of
2007. Jointly hosted by ARCUS and the Embassy of Sweden, the 2007 Arctic
Forum was held 23-24 May in Washington, DC with a focus on the theme,
"Water in the Arctic: International Collaborations and Understanding
Environmental Change." We look forward to sharing the 2007 abstracts
with you, and we welcome your participation in future sessions of the
Arctic Forum.

Sincerely,
Wendy K. Warnick
