The School of Geographical Sciences at University of Bristol is seeking
a lecturer with strong modeling skills to work on projects concerning
Southern Ocean circulation and interactions with the Antarctic ice
sheet, biogeochemistry of coastal waters with particular emphasis on
sediment and nutrient supply and cycling, sea-ice processes, and coastal
inundation including tidal prediction and storm surge work.

The successful candidate will collaborate with researchers from other
institutions and working groups to study the coupling between
terrestrial and coastal processes. Applicants must have a strong
background in numerical modeling of the circulation of shallow seas and
the ability to develop models of processes that bridge the land-sea
divide. Experience with high-latitude ocean processes is particularly
welcome.
