The University of Alaska Museum of the North is accepting applications
for the Ruth Croxton Memorial Fellowship, which supports graduate
students at the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF) who demonstrate
academic skills and leadership abilities and whose research projects
involve anthropology, northern studies, northern social or cultural
sciences, museum education, and/or museum collection-based research in
archaeology, ethnology, and history. Preference is given to students who
study interior, western, and Arctic Alaska with emphases on the people
of these regions, including their relationship with the environment.

Applicants must be full-time graduate students in good standing at UAF.
To apply, please submit a letter explaining how the award will be used
and how it will contribute to knowledge of northern Alaska and its
people, two letters of recommendation, and a completed scholarship
supplement form available at:
