The Geophysical Institute at University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF)
announces the 2007 schedule of Science for Alaska, a statewide, weekly
public lecture series featuring presentations on scientific findings in
a number of fields. The lecture series takes place in January and
February 2007, in Fairbanks, Anchorage, Juneau, and Seward, Alaska.

Lectures are free and open to all ages, last about one hour, and are
followed by a question-and-answer session. A one-credit continuing
education course for teachers will be offered in conjunction with the
lecture series through the UAF Department of Education.
