The Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences (CIRES)
and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) are
hosting an open meeting, Unmanned Aircraft Systems in the Arctic:
Capabilities, Sensitivities, and Applications, on Thursday, 14 December
2006, during the American Geophysical Union (AGU) Fall Meeting in San
Francisco, California. The meeting will be held from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
in the Marriott Hotel, Pacific A Room.

The meeting will consist of brief presentations on unmanned aircraft
capabilities and possible arctic applications, and an open, roundtable
discussion on the possible benefits and sensitivities to unmanned
aircraft systems in the Arctic. All interested parties are invited to
attend.
