As part of a major expansion, the University of Swansea wishes to
appoint faculty members in climate modelling, glaciology, and Earth
systems science. These posts are available at all levels, including
lecturer, senior lecturer, reader, and chair, and will be held the
School of the Environment and Society.
Applications are sought from dynamic and ambitious individuals with
active research interests in quantitative aspects of glaciology, Earth
systems science, and/or numerical climate modelling who can complement
and enhance the School's existing research strengths in these areas. The
successful applicants will have an excellent international reputation
for the originality, significance, rigor, and impact of their research,
including an outstanding track-record of academic publications,
attracting external funding for research, and, in some cases, research
leadership.
