The National Science Foundation (NSF) is hiring an Arctic Research
Support and Logistics Manager.
The person selected for this position will be responsible for providing
leadership in developing and implementing policy and direction for NSF
arctic logistics and science support activities. This involves
continuing interactions with participating scientists, support
contractors, and program managers in the Office of Polar Programs (OPP),
other NSF directorates, federal and state agencies, and other countries.
Close cooperation with OPP staff responsible for Antarctic logistics and
science support is essential. Additional duties include developing
annual and long-range plans that balance logistics, science, and budget
needs.
