The ARCUS 18th Annual Meeting and Arctic Forum 2006, currently being
held at the National Association of Home Builders Conference Center in
downtown Washington, D.C., is being broadcast live via webstream.

In addition to talks on interdisciplinary and international
collaborations in arctic science, a 2:00 p.m. EDT panel discussion,
"Managing Challenges Facing the Arctic Research Community", moderated by
Andrew C. Revkin of the New York Times, will provide perspectives on
discussions and presentations made throughout the Forum.

As a concluding keynote, U.S. Senator Lisa Murkowski will discuss
advancing arctic research through policy and science advocacy.
