Professorship in Petroleum-related Geology

A professorship/associate professorship in petroleum-related geology is
vacant in the Faculty of Science at the University of Tromso.
The appointed person will be responsible for developing plans for the
Master's programme in energy and environment in the north and will have
special responsibility for Earth sciences. The appointed person will
also be responsible for the development and implementation of related
Ph.D. teaching. He/she will carry out research in the domain of arctic
hydrocarbon resources, alternative energy, sustainable development, and
arctic environment. Applicants should be able to document research
expertise related to petroleum geology, as well as experience from
environmental problems related to petroleum activity.
