Online Focus Group Evaluating Community Health Websites

This notice is to inform and invite you to participate in an upcoming
evaluation being conducted on information portals to issues affecting
the health and well-being of American Indians and inhabitants of the
Arctic, respectively.
On Monday, 18 April, for approximately 60-90 minutes (9:00-10:30 p.m.
Eastern time), the National Library of Medicine (NLM) will be holding an
online focus group discussion about special population websites that
provide health-related information to the American Indian community and
inhabitants of the Arctic. The websites are available at:

The NLM would like your opinions, attitudes, and perceptions on the
content, functioning, and overall value of the websites, which you will
be asked to view in advance of the focus group at your convenience.
Selected participants will be sent compensation of $45 USD within a few
weeks of completion of the online focus group.
If you are interested in participating (which you will do from the
convenience of your own computer), please provide the following
information to Mary Beth Solomon (marybeth [at] MBSconsult.com) who will
contact you to discuss possible participation:
- your name
- your location (city/state)
- your occupation
- your employer information
- your e-mail and telephone number
- what type of community you serve (e.g. American Indian, arctic region)
- what geographical type of community you serve (e.g. rural, suburban,
etc.)
Please note that your contact information will be used exclusively for
the purpose of this research and will not be used or made available to
outside parties for any other purpose.
Also, please note that not all who respond will be selected to
participate, since the focus group is limited to a certain number of
