The 8th Circumpolar Co-operation Conference will be held in Whitehorse,
Yukon, Canada November 7-10, 2003. The theme of this year's conference
is "Circumpolar Connections".
The Circumpolar University Co-operation conferences foster interaction
and co-operation among people of the circumpolar north. They provide a
venue for making contacts, and a forum for exchanging ideas. The world
today is both smaller and larger than it has ever been before. This
conference offers northern scientists and scholars an opportunity to
strengthen old connections and make new ones for the future of the
circumpolar north.
Yukon College is pleased to host this 8th Circumpolar Co-operation
Conference, and delighted to welcome our guests to Whitehorse, and the
