The NSF Arctic Observing Network (AON) announces the next webinar in the
long-term observing management and governance series. This week's
webinar, focusing on the review process for long-term observing, will be
held Tuesday, 7 January 2014 at 1:30-2:30 p.m. EST via Webex. Access
details including dial-in information follows below.

Example topics in this webinar include:

- The role of innovation, improvisation, and risk in long-term
observing.
- Merit review criteria and evaluation metrics for long-term
networks and facilities.
- The valuation of observing activity in career advancement.
- The review process in a fully networked activity.
