The UiT the Arctic University of Norway invite applications from early career researchers within the field of International Relations and Political Science for a Marie Sklodowska Curie individual fellowship (MSCA-IF). This full-time, 24-month fellowship will be located at UiT the Arctic University of Norway in Tromso, Norway.
Successful postdoctoral candidates will be invited to Tromso (travel and accommodation expenses covered) for a two-day MSCA-IF symposium on 30-31 May 2018. At this event, the candidates will present their past research achievements, discuss future plans with their potential supervisor and learn how to write a successful MSCA-IF application. Together with the supervisor, the selected candidates will start developing their MSCA-IF application towards the MSCA-IF deadline of 12 September 2018.
Applicants must be an Experienced Researcher (ER) and be in possession of a doctoral degree, or have at least four years of full-time equivalent research experience, by the time of the deadline (12 September 2018). This position is open to residents of all countries, but applicants shall not have spent more than 12 months in Norway in the three years immediately prior to 12 September 2018.
Applications must include a curriculum vitae (maximum of three pages) and a description of a research project that will strengthen and complement one or both of the two presented research projects (maximum of two pages).
