Expedition Science invites applications for senior academics with a background in cryosphere research to sit on our polar-themed Scientific Committee. This part-time, permanent position will be located remotely.
The successful candidate will review incoming climate research projects for fieldwork funding, working beneath the panel chair and alongside three other academics and one non-academic expedition professional. The Panel are expected to meet virtually once a quarter to discuss the proposed projects. Pay is based on a day rate for each role, with an expected pay totaling 8 hours of work.
Applications must include a curriculum vitae and a 500-word statement detailing why you think you'd be suitable for the role.
