Current Research

Project: Estimating freshwater survival and environmental influences on the survival of several Yukon River chum salmon stocks. Two intensive study sites: Chena River, Hodgin’s Slough (28.6 mile Chena Hot Springs Road, Fairbanks, AK) and Tanana River, Bluff Cabin Slough (11 river miles upstream of the confluence of the Tanana and Delta Rivers, Alaska). Examining environmental factors and the influence they may have on developing chum salmon (Oncorhynchus keta) survival in freshwater life stages.
